Roger, Jan, Chris, Helen, Janet and Catherine are all happy to share their expertise with nursery visitors. We aim to always have someone on hand who can give you expert advice. They also look after the chickens. Louise, our Office Manager, is in the office Monday to Friday for administrative queries Teresa and Roger are also in the office some of the time. Dora, our chocolate lab, is supposed to be our 'meeter and greeter' but sometimes she is busy snoozing......... She is also supposed to be training up Bertie our yellow lab puppy too. As you can see we have a fantastic flexible multitasking team!

It overlooks the orchard and has views of the gardens. The Orchard Room is open on Wednesdays (light meals) and on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for tasty breakfasts, good coffee, delicious lunches and afternoon teas. All our food is home made using seasonal local produce whenever possible. We are working towards growing most of our own salad, vegetables and fruit. We change our menu weekly. We cook at least three main dishes each week as well as making soup. Additionally there are some regular savoury dishes and sandwiches and salads. Sweet and savoury scones are baked as well as a tempting array of homemade cakes and puddings. We serve tea, coffee and chocolate plus a range of soft drinks including homemade lemon and ginger refresher and our own apple juice. We are fully licensed. The Orchard Room is a wonderful light room all year round; we have air conditioning making it warm and cosy in Winter and cool and relaxing in summer.
