A Chicken Day

Saturday 10 May 2008         9.30am - 4.30pm

Roger and Teresa Harvey have enjoyed keeping chickens for nearly twenty years and have an interesting flock of hens which live in part of the orchard. Chickens make interesting 'pets' and fresh eggs for the kitchen are a real treat. Come along, be inspired and find out more about keeping chickens. Experts from the Norfolk Poultry Club and Colchester Poultry Club will be on hand with expert advice and information. As well as giving talks throughout the day they will be bringing along some of their own prize birds and there will be various other stalls and poultry related equipment to see. Children welcome.
